12.Deferred Revenue In March 2016, the Company assigned its 2016 contractual delivery obligations under two of its sales contracts to a natural resources trading company in exchange for a cash payment of $5.1 million. The first delivery occurred in July 2016 while the second is scheduled for the fourth quarter. The Company reflects payments as revenue when the related deliveries under the contracts are settled. Accordingly, the Company recognized $2.6 million of revenue in the current quarter as a result of the July delivery. |
